My 2018

My last year was pretty packed and its always such a nice surprise to go over the things that you achieved over the year. So apologies for a bit of a selfish post, but here is what happened in my 2018.

JANUARY

I started experimenting a lot with natural dyes. Little did I know that this is what will get me on the TV at the end of the year!

My year was topped off with a feature on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas. I was so honoured to be asked to teach Kirstie how to make some naturally dyed napkins. You can watch the episode here.

That was just a little snippet of the highlights of my year, there were so many more. Like swimming in the sea, going to Sweden, teaching at a Creativity festival and spending quality time with family and friends I’m not so sure how I can top it in 2019.

I don’t have any goals or resolutions this year as I feel the last two years have been pretty big for me with getting married and buying a house, I feel like I might just enjoy my time and see what happens. All I know is that we have a trip to Berlin, a weaving trip to Sweden and a personal exhibition in August. That will do for now. Happy New Year!
